| It's that time again...
Not really. This is only going to be short. My car isn't running yet, but it's being worked on and will be running shortly. I just hope it'll be running before monday. I wanna drive it to summer band. Wow. Summer has come and gone so fast. Once again, wasted by sleeping in WAY to late. But I guess that's what summer is for. Well, I've added a song to my Xanga. Stay Together for the Kids by Blink 182 off of one of my favorite albums Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. Speaking of Xanga, it has finally come. I have been a member for over a year as of the 22nd. So little dedication to this thing, but for some reason I can't not check and update every once and awhile. It's the little things. Any who, school starts in two weeks and I don't know whether to be happy or sad. Most of my friends graduated, and those that remain aren't all that good of friends any more. I hope my high school career doesn't turn to shit. Maybe Randy and my little band that we're tryin to throw together will pull a Thrice, and I can drop out or something. Nah, I wanna go to Berklee in Boston. I love music so much. Speaking of love, Tina and I are doing quite well. I took her out to the Cheesecake Factory for a dinner one night. It was good, but price-y. I owe her more than that though. She's done so much for me in the past and still is. I love her, and I wish she would stop spending her money on me cause I can't spend mine on her. I'm currently saving up for a half stack. Crate for 499. Should be a good deal, and hopefully it'll sound nice. It'll be nice to be heard. I get paid today. Should be a nice check. My first check was like $141 after tax and shit, and I think it was for only a week. From the 11th to the 16th. This time it should be for two weeks and much more hefty. I have to pay my Dad back for these gay "bills" that he's charging me. It's not too bad. $67. My sis has to pay more. 270 something. Ouch. Well, she works and makes more than I do, so whatever. Car insurance is gonna be a bitch though.  Whatever. | Well...
Once again it's early morning (3:28 am) and I am bored out of my mind. Like that's a first. Well, life is pretty good at the moment. Right now I'm listening to A.F.I.'s CD Sing the Sorrow, which is a pretty good CD. I've heard some of their old stuff, and this sounds nothing like it, but I'm sure if you cared you'd already know that. Since the last time I posted some pretty interesting stuff has happened. I went to Vans Warped Tour, which was extremely badass. It was hot. Very hot. There were some really badass bands there, like Yellowcard, from who I got the autographs of the drummer and bassist for my friend Randy, and A New Found Glory, whom I got autographs from the Singer and Bassist. I bought two shirts, a yellow one that has one of those ba-bombs from mario on it and says NEW FOUND GLORY, and then the Warped Tour Show Shirt. It was badass. I was supposed to have gotten my license on the 7th of July, but I need a TEA form to prove I'm in school. How fucking gay. Well, the school starts giving them out tomorrow, so I'll just get it then. I also got a car. It's a 1986 Honda Accord LX in Charcoal. It's looks pretty nice, but it doesn't run, the clear coat is coming off, and the bumpers are primed but not painted. My Dad's gonna fix it up and then we'll debate on painting it if finances allow it. But first, it should run. I'm not complaining that it doesn't run, considering that we got it for $98. I have some stuff planned out for it. I already have my entire sound system planned out, minus the speakers for the door and back, cause I don't know the size of them. But I will soon enough. Also, I got a job, which is good. I work at Bill Miller's on Mcullough and East Rector. It's pretty good. I make $7.00/hour, which is good for my first job. I've been working their about 2 weeks now and I get paid this Friday. I should make over $200 before tax and my uniform costs. I don't know what it'll be afterward, but hopefully it's reasonable. Fun, fun. Well, Tina and I are doing well. As she would say, there has been some glitches along the way, but we're working them out. She's really something great. I'm glad I get to be with her, instead of some other guy. We've done alot together this summer. We usually end up going to her cousin's house after work or aaround 9 or 10 pm. We've seen a few movies this summer, which is cool cause I normally don't see many movies. She also was with me at the Warped Tour. She was wearing a balck corsette, which was really sexy. Her friend Andrea came with us along with Andre (no relation). They are both pretty cool peeps. Look... I said Peeps. I feel all preppy cheerleader now. Go me. Any way. The 9th was my Mom's birthday. We had cake and Icecream which was cool. Welp, I'm bored. I miss my friends. I haven't seen them in awhile. the majority of them graduated, which is awesome, but now I'm pretty much alone when school starts. Fun. Randy and I need to practice, but we've both been working and stuff. Also, a means of transportation seems to be very difficult to get a hold of. As soon as my car is running, I'm sure the practicing will increase. Hopefully. Meanwhile, I guess we'll have to stick to sending eachother recordings of ideas and such via internet. Whatever. Someone once posted that I make really long posts, well, here's another for ya. Let's see. Anything else? I have so many plans to do with the money I make, which unfortunetly means putting smothering my girlfriend with presents on a temporary hold. She understands though. I mean, this is stuff I need. The first thing I'm buying is a Crate half-stack for $499. I need it to practice with drums and to use for gigs and such. Then I'm getting two new pick-ups for my guitar. That'll come out to about $160, but my guitar should sound really badass. Then I can spend some cash on my girl while on the side saving for a new guitar. Hopefully everything will go as planned. Well... I really can't think of anything else to post. I'm not sorry that I haven't updated because I said that I'd update when I had something interesting to say. Now that that something is said, it'll probably be awhile before I post again. Who knows. Well, until then, remember the three necessities of living. Food, Love, and Music.
